3D Module project - Process

So I began with this little structure (Above). I never usually think or plan a project out, so I just glued tacks where I felt it was appropriate.

Once I had glued enough of them together, I noticed it was all rather small and flat looking. This is the point when I thought I should begin to move up with the tacks.

You can see here that my way of thinking was using basic geometric shapes, such as triangles and rhombus's to provided strong bases for which to stack additional tacks.
At this point, I became bored with my project. After counting how many pieces there actually was inside this thing, I was encouraged at the high number because when you look at the structure, its actually quite small. So beginning on the left, I branched out and just glued away. My inspiration I believe came from my math class. Currently we are working with graphs and logic, involving linking two vertex's with each other by lines.
